Kodagu
Famous as the Switzerland of the east and the Kashmir of the south, Kodagu is the destination for leisure. The scenic landscape of Kodagu with its vast expanse of forests, plantation, and cultivations, that once were driving this primarily agro-based economy, are now adding momentum for eco-tourism in the region. Kodagu is home to plantation crops like coffee, tea, rubber, teak, areca nut, and tapioca. The region is also popular for its pepper, cardamom, and orange cultivation.
