Horticulture crops in the region include a wide variety of fruits. Medicinal and aromatic plants like amla, ashwagandha, citronella and lemongrass are also grown in Gadag. The MSME cluster in power loom, textile training college and a large talent pool of skilled workers forms a perfect ecosystem for the textile sector here.
